Barbie Online Run! 1959 marked the birth year of Barbie, the legendary fashion icon who embarked on her dazzling career on the global stage. With her unique style, versatile personas, and boundless fashion charm, Barbie has captured the hearts of generations worldwide. In this online run, we adopt the meaningful number "1959" as the milestone distance goal, celebrating the power of women alongside Barbie.

This is a new type of running event where you can participate anytime, anywhere, running at your chosen time and place. Simply complete a 1.959-kilometer run, take a screenshot of your achievement, and upload it to our official LINE account @barbierun to enjoy a sense of accomplishment and the health benefits!

How to Register?

Participants can register and complete the payment successfully on the official website to join. Once the registration process is completed, no requests for changing the race category will be entertained.


How to Participate?

Participants in the online run can use any running app to complete the race, whether it's a single run or multiple runs that accumulate. Simply capture the screenshot of your cumulative running records totaling 1.959 kilometers and upload them within the specified period to complete the race!


How to Upload?

From 12:00 AM on April 12 (Friday) to 11:59 PM on May 12 (Sunday), upload your completion screenshot photos to the official LINE account @barbierun and fill out the form. This qualifies you for the online run mission. Completion material packages will be sent out sequentially after May 13 based on the order of registration.

Precautions

1.The online run has no set closing time. Simply record your run using any running app on your phone, and complete the designated distance of 1.959 kilometers at any time and location. You can run multiple times to accumulate the total distance.

 

2.The event is not limited to specific running apps. You can download any pedometer app from the App Store/Google Play Store to record your run.

 

3.Registration for the Barbie Run online event is open from March 14th to May 12th, 2024. You can upload your completion records from April 12th to May 12th, 2024. Completion kits will be shipped starting from May 13th, 2024, in the order of registration. Please ensure to provide a complete mailing address. Postal boxes are not accepted. In case the package is returned due to an incomplete address or no one available to sign for it, no further attempts will be made to resend it. Participants are required to pick up their kits at the event service desk on the registration day.

 

4.The Barbie Run organizers reserve the right to modify, change, or cancel the event. Any relevant updates will be announced on the event website or social media channels without further notice.

 

5.Participants are advised to prioritize traffic safety and consider their own health conditions. Individuals with a history of heart disease, vascular problems, diabetes, or other relevant medical conditions are discouraged from participating.

 

6.Participants in the online run are responsible for assessing their own health condition and arranging their running routes and times. The organizers are not liable for any accidents that may occur during the event.

 

7.Refund Policy:

Refunds are subject to the following conditions:A. Refund requests made between March 8th and May 12th, 2024, will be eligible for an 80% refund of the registration fee after deducting administrative fees.
B. Refund requests made after May 13th, 2024, will only be accepted under special circumstances and will be eligible for a 50% refund of the registration fee.
C. Special circumstances include natural or man-made disasters, transportation disruptions, military service, injury, pregnancy, or the death of immediate family members. Relevant documentation must be provided.
Refunds will be processed sequentially upon verification of the participant's identity and refund request details. Refund recipients will forfeit their participation eligibility and will no longer receive event-related materials.
Refunds are only applicable for "group" ticket purchases. Please be patient as refund procedures may require time and processing.
